Frusion is very happy to represent Jaune Toujours one of the funkiest outtings in world music you'll ever come across, seen recently at the Froots anniversary party they're a blst of fresh air. Like Brussels, Jaune Toujours is an explosive mix of cultures, languages and styles of music: rock, chanson, ska, gypsy, balkan or brassband, anything goes. The band has an excellent live reputation in Belgium and France.

Jaune Toujours play with their guts and aim at the audience's feet. In June of 2003, Jaune Toujours performed as supporting act to Manu Chao in Brussels and were sent to Norway to represent Belgium at the EBU festival in Førde. Last Summer, they played a lot of festivals in Belgium and also abroad: in Bremen at the Breminale (for Radio Bremen and Funkhaus Europa) and in London, during a short tour witch caught the attention of the English press (fROOTS, Time-Out, The Guide-The Guardian,...).

The new album Barricade reflects the band's new sound: great songs carried by wicked grooves featuring accordion, drums and upright bass, strengthened by the crème de la crème of Belgian brass section . from the accordion sounds of the Marolles (the musette quarter of Brussels) over brassband to influences from deep-ska and dub....
